MS04-2 FSBO: Follow up, Qualifying, Listing

Robin Butler , Aug 26
“ Being a former student of Sandler Sales Institute I applaud Dave for pointing out that one of the most important tasks is uncovering the prospect's pain especially in a considerate way without making the prospect feel belittled or even stupid. I also think it is encouraging that just the very act of pursuing a FSBO and hanging in there (Bootcamp) even if I do not get the listing makes me a winner in becoming an incredible real- estate agent! ”

MS04-1 FSBO: Things Not to Do, Making Contact

Robin Butler , Aug 26
“ Before getting my Realtor license, my husband and I flipped houses. The very first day we would put the property on the market FSBO we would get calls from realtors, trying to avoid as many as possible especially if the name showed up on Caller ID... So I know the pain of getting calls from realtors especially when you are hoping for a prospect... This being said I think it is easier to put someone off on the phone than in person. Besides I would rather be told NO in person because I know at least I have a better chance in person than on the phone. The video does a good job showing what owners really do and think!!! ”

“ Great information particularly on "how not to ask for a referral." For me its important to remain personable rather than sounding like a sales pitch..... Its uncomfortable for both parties.... ”
